Welcome, Fellow Ragamuffins!
Me, age 12 Modeling for Ifrogz, age 22
My dad was a single parent, and we were poor. He did the very best he could, but he was grieving, and overworked, and had bills to pay… it was a mess. Consequently, I was a ragamuffin child. Unkempt hair, shabby clothes that weren’t in style even in the decade they were created in, and no concept of social decorum. Seriously, NO concept. … I was galloping on all fours, pretending to be a horse until I was in the 7th grade, and I did this at school. In the hallways. … Anyway, I digress.
It’s painful to look back on my growing-up years, but I also feel a sense of pride, knowing how far I’ve come on the road to becoming a lady. I learned it the hard way, and I’m going to share my information with you so that you don’t have to!
This is not a blog for the polished young lady. A girl like that will already have figured out what I have to share. This is a blog for the woman/girl who needs to start with the basics. Someone who has NO idea wether to pair the dark jeans or the light jeans with that shirt, or how to de-bone a fish, or how to talk to a guy without sounding like a moron. This blog would be helpful for your average middle school- high school age girl, or your not-so-average, ragamuffin-esque woman who just needs all this information in one cozy, organized spot. So let’s get started! 🙂
